Call to Order:
President, Tom Henson called the meeting to order at
7:38 pm. A quorum was present.
Minutes:
Amy Pulliam read the February 13, 2003 meeting
minutes. The minutes were
approved.
Treasury Report:
Will
Jones read the February treasurer’s report.
Beginning balance was $20,915.97. Total income was $6,234.60. Total expenses were $1,167.39. Net income $5,067.21. Ending balance $25,983.18. The treasurer’s report was approved.
Architectural Committee:
No
report was given.
Security Report:
The committee is awaiting two proposals from Knight Watchman and Pinkerton. Once these proposals are received the committee will meet and come back to The Board with recommendations about how to handle neighborhood security in the future.
OLD BUSINESS:
Budget:
The Board approved the attached 2003 Budget.
Landscape Committee:
Bob Teasley reported that he is awaiting bids on mowing and that he hopes to make a final decision on the mowers soon.
Chimney Hills Directory:
The directory should be ready to deliver in April. Tom Henson volunteered to call those businesses who were interested in placing ads in the directory but had not sent their ads in yet. Any young person who is a Chimney Hills Resident who would like to design a cover for the directory should contact Patty Taylor.
Delinquent Homeowners:
Lisa Kunkel visited with our attorney about taking delinquent homeowners to small claims court and presented The Board with the attached report. After much discussion, the board decided not to make any decisions on how to proceed with delinquent homeowners at this meeting, but rather think about it and discuss the matter further at the next board meeting.
NEW BUSINESS:
Garage Sale:
Lisa
Dill has graciously volunteered her time to organize the CHEHA Garage Sale for
2003. The board approved a budget for the garage sale of $200. The date for the garage sale has not yet
been decided.
Board Resignation:
The Board of Directors has accepted Judy Hopkins
resignation from the Board.
There being no further
business, the meeting was adjourned at 8:55 pm.
